artemispanthar: Let’s see if my family gets home in time to watch TWD on time. I’m guessing no Whoops, I was wrong, they did get home in time. I’m surprised

artemispanthar: Reminder: Tomorrow’s Steven Universe episode is on at 6:30pm. This is 15 minutes earlier than its usual time. If you tune in at its usual time, you’ll have missed it! You gotta watch it at 6:30, not 6:45 So - “Lion 3: Straight to

artemispanthar: Real talk, though, I kinda hold out hope that maybe Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will be a VA in SU at some point. Purely because I’m a total dork and I absolutely love when my fandoms overlap, haha. Also I figure its not too far-fetched

artemispanthar: Y’know, the first fanfiction I ever wrote was a Digimon fanfic. Written in loose notebook paper held together by a paperclip NO WAIT, technically the first fanfic I ever wrote was a Lion King sequel when I was like 7 or something.

artemispanthar: Ohh god there’s always stressful needless drama when we do family stuff everyone needs to chill Everything calmed down for the time being, thankfully

artemispanthar: Hm, that was either an earthquake or some kind of sonic boom or something Oh ok according to the news it was an earthquake

artemispanthar: ok well this level looks like its going to be a pain in the ass oh, that actually wasn’t that bad

artemispanthar: The browser games often have stuff from episodes of the show, even episodes that haven’t aired yet (for example, the Gem Bound game which launched with the show had the giant bird from “Giant Woman”, not to mention the whole bubbling

artemispanthar: I think one of the most interesting things to me from that Gem art and architecture post is the wall with the animal figures: ‘cause, like, the statues and murals and depictions of Gems make sense, but this wall is different, its

artemispanthar:*loud frustrated sighing* people get annoyed if I watch a show without them but if I wait for them they dick around for hours like I know -you- don’t care about watching it as it airs but you know I do and you’re not even trying to

artemispanthar: whatjamesdrawws replied to your post: anonymous asked:I think that the …im hoping for gems!! they werent around at all last week, so i hope they appearA couple months ago there was a leaked video from a dub of Pearl in a winter sweater,

artemispanthar: *insert Pink Panther theme here*My little sister was humming the Pink Panther theme and then started laughing saying “What if Lion was sneaking around to this song?” and then I pretty much had to draw Lion posing like the Pink Panther

artemispanthar:Ok, I want to make sure to publish any speculative asks for the 2-parter since most will be confirmed one way or another once it aired I have but I’m on my phone so I can’t tag them. I’ll put any terms for blacklists in the body of

artemispanthar:Little gif of the Attack the Light preview Grumpyface posted to twitter. Apparently they’ll be posting previews leading up to the release! This is so exciting, I’ve been waiting ages for this and look how cut it is he’s playing his

artemispanthar:The Earth and Heaven beetles skyping and hoping that one day they can meet in-person (or in-beetle, I guess) Reblogging this old fanart I made because of the new info on the Earth and Heaven geode beetles (that they’re corrupted Gems)

artemispanthar: I was just thinking about how, like, if Pearl is a sort of manufactured subspecies of Gem like we’ve been discussing then maybe she’s not technically a Gem but a facsimile of one. Like Pearl is her species rather than name? Something

artemispanthar: aaaauuuuuughhh iTunes made me update it and it broke Quicktime Player so it will just not open iTunes movie files and I need Quicktime for gif-making and whatnot since I can’t frame-by-frame in iTunes and I’m just so pissed off right

artemispanthar: Sorry if someone already posted this but I just woke up and saw “Story for Steven” was added to the schedule for April 9th!!!! It looks like its sticking to the 5:30pm timeslot after “Say Uncle”

artemispanthar:YO, what do you guys recommend as an alternative to iTunes for listening to music? I’m checking google of course but I’d prefer something trusted by folks I know, like you guys, than just picking something from some listEDIT: To clarify,

artemispanthar: In a way, Steven is to Rose what Heather is to Alessa (Silent Hill 3). A sort of reincarnation but not quite living life relatively normally before suddenly being dragged into chaos by lore-significant characters from the past (homeworld

artemispanthar:where did you go, tablet pen pressure sensitivity? Why did you leave me? got it back. Now I can draw this terrible joke I wanted to show you guys

artemispanthar: my little sister was telling a story about the Gems and she was using toys as stand-ins for the characters and Pearl was this small motorized toy. While she was talking she accidentally dropped Pearl who then ran under a cabinet and then

artemispanthar: I finished my video! Its too late to post it now so I’ll wait for tomorrow (and give it a once over first to make sure I didn’t make mistakes that I’m overlooking now). But otherwise, yea, its done auuuugh, the video element I

artemispanthar: Steven Universe - King and LionheartSo here’s that video I’ve been working on for the past month or so! A music video for Steven Universe using Of Monster and Men’s King and Lionheart. Hope you guys like it!

artemispanthar: As I was trying to get to sleep last night I thought up a SU comic and I was like “I’m going to draw this tomorrow” but now it’s tomorrow and I can’t draw it because I’ve completely forgotten what the idea was Nevermind I

artemispanthar: opencasketsurgery replied to your post: digamma-f-wau asked:holy shit you…I’ve actually never seen Lauren’s rendition of LegPearl!Well you’re in luck! she had also made a lot of tweets about the whole leg pearl thing back when

artemispanthar: So my brothers were over and we were watching SU (so my youngest brother could catch up) and chatting. We were talking about how the North America, as seen in “Jail Break” doesn’t have a Floridaand then, while watching “Say

artemispanthar: Some sketchy doodles inspired by these photos of birds. These were originally supposed to be very quick sketches but I got carried away. I was also going to use Ruby and Sapphire but I thought it was funnier with Garnet. This is why Pearl

artemispanthar: It really amuses me that she hooks her arm around Garnet’s waist to wave at Steven instead of just moving in front of her She has also hugged Garnet’s thigh in “Mirror Gem” when she’s freaked out about the mirrorwhich is probably

artemispanthar: ok so its late so I’m a bit punchy in general but I’m in tears laughing because I went to make a gif and for some reason Quicktime decided to make the video visible in only one tiny pixel smack in the middle of the screen. And, like,

artemispanthar: Speaking of the pilot, interestingly while the ‘seams’ on the gems in the series are just a lighter color of the gems’ color, in the pilot they looked more…metallic. They kinda seem to specifically begold for Steven and Garnet

artemispanthar: I wonder how Stronger Than You plays in Audiosurf and Beat Hazard… It plays really well in both

artemispanthar: it looks like its gonna rain y’know what, it didn’t rain at all today. The sky lied to me

artemispanthar: Auugh, I can’t sleep and I need to get up early and I’m so tired but I can’t sleep and just auugh I’m still awake :( this sucks

artemispanthar: I keep seeing a lot of drama in tags so I want to remind people that you should be using Tumblr’s block feature. It’s a handy tool and more people should use it. Under the readmore I’m going to walk you through the processKeep reading

artemispanthar: cosmicowly: can anyone write down the lyric of “everything stays” please?? i cant catch the words at all but it sounds so pretty.. I’ll give it a shot, give me a couple minutes Let’s go in the car(?) nowYou’ll find

artemispanthar: the other day I had a thought that’s probably really unlikely but I thought I’d share. You know how we were kind of theorizing that maybe Pearl used to be a Gem embedded in an object, like Lapis? Because of the whole “Just let

artemispanthar: also Cookie Cat has one pink eye and one yellow eye… I wonder if that’s relevant I meant as in how Cookie Cat works as a metaphor for Gems. I know he’s ice cream and that’s textually why, I meant metaphorically.

artemispanthar: If I ever make an About page, I’d probably put this gif at the top

artemispanthar: slasher9485 tagged me for this lock/home screen thing. Lock screen on the left, home screen on the right. I’m sure it’s a huge shock to find out that they’re both pictures of Pearl. I’m not gonna tag anyone. If you want to do

artemispanthar: my desk fan arrived! It’s quite good for such a small fan. Its cool too because the blades can glow blue (which you can toggle on and off) so it matches my keyboard and mouse, which also glow blue (I like the color blue, you see)

artemispanthar: Hmm… #every pearl expression is cute

artemispanthar: auuugh, Loot Crate errored when I ordered the Fallout Crate but I got charged for it so I’m assuming it went through? And just couldn’t load the next page because of all the traffic. I don’t want to try doing it again because I

artemispanthar: there’s all these really cute artsy photos in that little hallway near Steven’s bathroom (and the one of the lighthouse is in the bathroom). Like, there’s not many pictures around the house (aside from the picture of Connie by Steven’s

artemispanthar: y’know if (big if) “Back to the Barn” is a Pearl and Peridot bonding episode like we’ve been speculating, it would probably give us some more insight/backstory on what a pearl is and how they’re regarded on Homeworld. Because

artemispanthar: I have decided that anthro Amethyst will be a porcupine specifically a Crested Porcupine. Look at itlook at its hair

artemispanthar: I have updated my video compilation of Pearl laughing

artemispanthar: In “Lars and the Cool Kids” Pearl is talking about Rose and she says “she saw the beauty in everything, no matter how gross.” and I’m wondering if maybe she was kind of referring to herself. The temptation is to think she’s

artemispanthar: “Love Like You” has been the ending theme since the very first episode (an instrumental version) so it doesn’t make any sense to me to assume it applies entirely to any one specific character, especially characters who have only

artemispanthar: I’ve been thinking about this a lot today and I find it really interesting how the ‘Yellow Diamond’ symbol (previously discussed here) on Peridot and Jasper’s outfits are more or less identical. They’re both sleeveless jumpsuit-type

artemispanthar: Its raining! Its no longer raining

artemispanthar: My little sister is learning how to compare and contrast stories/characters for school and how to organize that information in a Venn Diagram. She had to practice some of the skills she learned over the past couple lessons so she chose

artemispanthar: one of my theories regarding Rose and Pearl’s relationship is that while Pearl loves Rose and I’m confident that Rose loved her back, if Pearl was specifically made to be devoted (such as being an object meant to serve or otherwise

artemispanthar: Like, Pearl’s enthusiastic and insistent “But I WANT to!” exclamation to Rose in that reenactes memory in “Rose’s Scabbard” is probably really significant for a Pearl, to actually want something and to actually express it.

artemispanthar: Do you think the night sky ever bothers Pearl? Like, do the stars look wrong and its off-putting? The stars we see, the configurations they’re in, constellations, they’re are all due to the position our planet is in relation to them

artemispanthar: oh hey, its that one skeleton guy I keep seeing on my dash and there’s the other one

artemispanthar: My computer crashed :| I guess Undertake is just too intense a game for it to handle… my last save was before the Toriel fight so now I have to do it over again

artemispanthar: oh no aww
