taikova: my thoughts starting with this was “i’m going to google a boxer lady for a reference for korra and her muscles and im going to render those muscles like hella” but actually i didnt find a good pose so this ended up coming from the top

taikova: study of korra! i drew the younger one first, then copied it mid-sketch and thought of book 3 while working on the copy.. korra’s physical and emotional demeanor changes so much along the way and i love comparing first book to the third one.
