To celebrate Persona 4: The Golden turning one year old today (US release), I’ve decided to do another P4 song parody to commemorate the occasion. Something of a tweaked and spruced up version of this old kink meme fill: http://badbadbathhouse.livej
Yu and Chie simultaneously drawing “Great Blessing” fortunes at the Inaba Shrine during New Year’s Day after one of them (or maybe both) does so while thinking ‘impure thoughts’. Kudos to Erin Fitzgerald imbuing a lot of
Persona 4 The Golden: Chie vs. Valentine’s Day ¼ A normal start free of tension
Persona 4 The Golden: Chie vs. Valentine’s Day 2/4 After a very flirtatious ski trip, a labyrinthine bonus dungeon, and an absolutely electric bath at the Amagi Inn, Rise Kujikawa takes a bow while Yu gets friendship chocolate.
Persona 4 The Golden: Chie vs. Valentine’s Day ¾ The Coming and Going of Brokiko Amagi
Persona 4 The Golden: Chie vs. Valentine’s Day 4/4 Concluding the Somewhat Untold Story of an Uneventful Eventful Valentine’s Day Prologue that came to a Bashful, but Amicable Resolution
A Golden World: A New Inaba It’s an old story, a mixture of pride and self-loathing leads to resentment. One feels important enough that things should be going there way, but wishes to be the right amount of nominal so they will not be called to
Agi spells aren’t the only kinds of Burn Damage that Yukiko Amagi can inflict. With a little help from her friends of course.
A Golden World: Revelation Reformation Beyond the labyrinth and crimson fog, the terrors of Inaba find redemption…except Mitsuo apparently.
Atlus on November 24 to the haters who were freaking out (in a bad way) over Dancing All Night, Q, and TUUSH seemingly disproving the notion that Persona 5 was forthcoming. Riiiiiight before the P5 reveal.
A Golden World: Junes Jackanapes It’s the thought that counts. That’s good enough for most people. But that’s not good enough for Yu, is it?
Some of the more unconventional New Year’s Day Date options with Chie. Sometime’s it’s hard to tell if someone has their head in the clouds or their mind in the gutter. Also, I’ve updated the last post with her reaction to Great
To be fair Dojima, the way you phrased that implied that only you would get in trouble if Yu got into show biz. You can’t really blame Yu for your poor choice of words. Not pictured: Yu’s mom screaming at her brother.
The Origin of Persona 4 Dancing All Night Tempting fate is never a good idea, because fate has notoriously poor self-control.
There’s “Ha-Ha” funny, and then there's…not so “Ha-Ha” funny. Very meta, wouldn’t you agree?
The purpose behind Yu’s glare-do, his infamous proclivity for collars popped or otherwise, and more! “For the Protagonist’s design, I went for a wild guy with a slightly bad additude, something that isn’t part of the ‘young man’
“Nanako is like a little sister to the Protagonist, so like the Protagonist, I tried to make her universally appealing. In fact, it wasn’t enough that I try, since we already knew Nanako would get kidnapped during the course of the game. I needed

Yu Narukami vs. The Memes Just because tumblr and 4chan don’t like each other, doesn’t mean they can’t like the same things or appreciate the stuff that they produce.
“Designing Ryotaro started with figuring out the emotional distance he would maintain when interacting with Nanako and the Protagonist. The emotional walls and distances we set for ourselves tend to be reflected in our faces, so after discussing
“Initially, we were going to use Elizabeth from ‘Persona 3’ for 'Persona 4’ as well, but decided against it so as to give the story and events of 'Persona 3’ more significance. This is why Elizabeth was included in the
“Tohru was initially going to be a red herring in the story, so I intentionally made him a rather suspicious character. When we decided to change his role, I tweaked his design to make him someone who looks like your average Joe and puts others
The Core Themes of P3 and P4 What does man truly desire: Death or Delight?
“I had initially designed Taro with a deranged look, but once the story started solidifying, I decided to make him seem more like an unfortunate soul. In the final design, Taro’s facial structure has his eyes and eyebrows moving in unison,

I think freeing Yukiko from her cage would’ve been a bit more effective if she hadn’t sent it flying with her. Also, looks like Kanji was right about women; Good for him, I guess.
Rule63 Izanagis (no, not that one), Katana Paradoxes and more in this post! “Yukiko’s Persona, Konohana Sakuya, does not technically have a whole lot to do with Izanagi as far as mythology is concerned. However, she is the goddess who stands

“The people underneath Shadow Chie represent the people in Chie’s life, but mostly Yukiko. Chie’s dark side is her need to belittle and feel superior to others in order to maintain her sense of personal identity. I kept this face at
“Since Shadow Yosuke is the first Shadow the player will encounter in the game, I wanted to use its design as a way to convey the fact that a Persona is, in fact, a Shadow. For this purpose, I designed Shadow Yosuke to have more design elements
