Kevin Dart says: Laser Light Design & Lighting Keys Laser Light was actually the very first episode we all worked on, so these were some really early B/W keys I did to help us establish a look and feel for Beach City. This is when I first started
I am so very, very sorry this is awful why does Steven have such hard to draw ideas. I think I hate wheelbarrows now. No I did not draw this is MS paint how dare you imply that I totally did I’m the worst(Submitted by gay-blue-space-rock)
They couldn’t argue with that logic. The story of how gay marriage was made undisputably legal. [[The fact that history is different Steven Universe makes me think homophobia in Congress didn’t last very long.]](Submitted by boopboopitydoop)
Hey, remember that one post I made? I put it on a real shirt that you can buy!If you like Steven Universe, this blog, and this blog’s interpretation of Yellow Diamond, this is the shirt for you!I’m very excited to have opened up shop, and look forward
I realize that the image of this design I posted earlier isn’t very high quality, so here’s a better one! You can click to enlarge. This is more true to the quality you’ll see printed on the shirts, which are available here. See you tomorrow for
You’d think with all those kindergartens they’d be able to grow a sense of humor but nooooo
moesartblog:this is what we call a win/win situation Haha, look how smug she looks! I also love how @moesartblog gives them visible body hair.
Very, very rough sketch of Maw-Sit-Sit, the fusion of Bismuth and Emmie. This fusion was briefly mentioned in the last chapter of Counterfeit Corruption. This is the first time she “came to be”. Bismuth had assumed that their fusion would have four
This is it! The final minute, the last moment until the end, the very last “Here come the rocks!” new episode announcement post! It’s truly been an honor to help remind you guys of premiere with my little countdown posts and I sure hope they’ve
This is a very old drawing (2015ish). It’s from when we were first conceptualizing this standoff between Lapis and Blue Diamond. This must also be around the time we were tying down Blue’s design while we were storyboarding ‘Steven’s Dream’!
nightmare-bruce: While we’re doing Famicom carts I should post these too! This is part one of a big commission from the very cool @holdtightclothing; imaginary games for a bunch of Steven Universe characters. Thanks for such a fun project! More to
Patreon reward for Koku! (also y’all been askin for more alternative hair garnet and I am VERY happy to provide)
serioussnowcone: I know we all were surprised at Steven’s real age, but let’s take a minute to see how our favorite star child has grown this is true character development.at first I didnt like steven cause I found him very annoying with how oblivious
mechandra: I learned a few tidbits of sign language from a coworker who is in school to become an interpreter. She is very enthusiastic about sign language and deaf culture. I…may have gotten a few of these signs wrong.
the-snowflake-owl: Can we talk about how Sadie basically protected Lars from a “creepy stranger”? Sadie took charge and lightly pushed Lars away. This was very cute in a heartwarming way.
mynameismad: Hey I never got a chance to upload this before, but I tried out for Boom! Studio’s Steven Universe comic forever ago! This was my one-page entry. In retrospect the art is very VERY cluttered, which probably worked against me, but I COLORED
My phone will now automatically capitalize Pearl but not Amethyst or Garnet (yet) and I have chosen to believe this is because Pearl would be the one who would care about proper writing and grammar and whatnot the most
I still don’t know what episode they screened last night at SDCC and this is very distressing to me
ask-pearl-the-bird-nerd: FREAK NO! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING! (cries in the corner) This says the show will go on to at least 2016 and will, very likely, get renewed beyond that (it has an order of 104 episodes with room for more). So I’m not sure

kasukasukasumisty: Steven Universe - Island Adventure (Sneak Peek) Awwww-… OMFG HOLY SHIT AHAHAHA
textsfrom-beachcity: (920): Just made my alarm the Lion King song. Too excited about waking up to sleep.
This was Pearl’s expression when Garnet said “I’m confident Pearl is right” Also, she’s crouched in a very uncomfortable looking position, like her weight is pretty much entirely on the ball of her left foot. I mean, I know
I feel like “Space Race” is a very misunderstood episode where people take it way too literally and think, if given a choice, Pearl would leave Earth. I’ve seen people express confusion as to why she wouldn’t be happy about the
joethejohnston:It was very hard to come up with a poster that wasn’t filled with spoilers, so i had to wait until now. I can’t believe this episode is finally out there for people to see, its so surreal for us.
Wow, that episode was an experience. Really funny and silly but very sweetLoved the over the top cartooniness (SU is a bit more grounded, they don’t get to be that cartoony often!) and 4th wall humor. “None of this is canon” and then sinking Larsadie
shittygomu:artemispanthar: There’s a speculative fancomic going around of the Gems capturing Peridot and I’ve seen a lot of those but this is the very first one I’ve seen that doesn’t make the Crystal Gems (especially Pearl) bloodthirsty evil
robooboe: quartzrulez: Finally I will have my cartoon again no idea if the wiki is accurate but here is a link to it anyways This is very very likely a false date. The source just leads to the Stevencrewniverse “Later This Summer” post which
littlegemling: You know, the rose quartz gem has a very interesting form. I just stumbled over this post again and realised it looks very peculiar. This is Pearl’sAmethyst’sRuby and SapphireAnd then there’s Steven’s (Rose Quartz)After seeing this
mechandra replied to your post: anonymous asked:I rewatched the s…I thought about this a very long time and I have the answer for Anon: she’s walking down the steps with her head down, which is actually a very common thing to do when you’re
thesketcherlass: Uhm, guys? About those new Steven Bomb 2.0 images? Something just struck me. While looking at one of the images from Sworn to the Sword. So is it just meor does thislook familiar?I do enjoy that one story about the brave, intellectual,
kittev: this is very old but i still like it a lot
art-killed-the-superstar: Can’t wait for tomorrowI might not have that long i drew rosepearl for r0seuniverse for her birthday! this is very belated but i didn’t actually get to formally present it to her until today, so. here is my gift to you!!
quackingmoron: This is very narcissistic… I just wanted to draw the SU characters that I relate to most
deadling: amethyst tells her girlfriend she is pointy and her gf thinks that that is not very romantic this is a disaster but if you can make it out, very good
superhyperhedgey: This is a very very late Birthday gift for Nikki. This is my attempt at a speedpaint of Pearl from Steven Universe. Hope you like it.
cauden-ixi: I see a lot of this, and it’s very nice But this is also very nice! And who said this couldn’t be nice too? But you know what is nicer than nice?
inkyquartz: i put matt burnetts picture through photoshop and found some script stuff B) Steven: pearl… [ ] wants you to call her her and talk to her on the phone [ ]: Oh [ ] Nice of her [ ] suppose [ ] this is [ ] oh dang! That’s very interesting.
artemispanthar: there are 3 websites I use to check SU’s schedule CartoonNetwork.com’s drop-down schedule is the most accurate, since its ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’ so to speak. CN’s scheduling is very fickle and so CN’s site schedule
This is a very “Are you seeing this nonsense?” expression
Rose: Gems, I gotta go on a very dangerous and important mission, all by myself. I’ll be gone a few days. Don’t follow me. *warps out*Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl: Oh, I hope Rose will be safe on this no doubt extremely dangerous mission that she couldn’t

only-yami: I really wanted to make this , so (? (/u\)
passionpeachy: there’s a new dove self-esteem project x steven universe e-book that lets kids personalize their own book, including choosing their own pronouns, and it’s very cute (click for better quality)
Super quick thoughts on the episode because I have The Flu and want to go lay down haha.Very cute episode, if a little underwhelming. I do appreciate a breather and I kiiinda suspect this is sort of like a bottle episode (an episode of a show designed

oathkeeper-of-tarth: Listen this one song name on the SU movie OST tracklist just threw me bodily back into 2015 and made me relive, within the 3-second span it took me to read it, every single one of my (and others’) endless theories and headcanons
pearl-likes-pi: This is a compilation of Pearl interacting with humans & human culture because its very important to me honestly reasons to watch: it’s a compilation of Pearl interacting with humans & human culture what more could u want from
blackfeministmanifesto:invisibleblackunicorn:sassking-trevor:mmishee-personal:sassking-trevor:red3blog:Hey, white Steven Universe fans. These are all the POC in the cast of Steven Universe. You notice how 3 of the 4 leads are WOC? Or how this is more
art-emoji: lapis is very tired (bonus mom-friend pearl)
thegembeaststemple: Some Jasper and Connie interaction! (Also wanted to point out this piece in a similar vein as the comic by @starrtles as it is very cute!)
thatsthat24: clear-iz-ded12: People of the SU fandome watch this this is VERY important If anyone were to ask me what SU is about, I would show them this.
behind-a-wall-of-illusion: This rip in Steven’s star is very purposeful and significant. I think it definitely symbolizes Steven’s perceptions of Gems and his mom. Between “Bismuth”, “Earthlings”, and “Back to the Moon”, Steven is
if anybody who hasn’t see the original within the last few hours can guess what this is from, I’m gonna be pretty impressed.edit: and then everybody got it and I was very impressed and it wasn’t jojo
This is my entry to WLF’s Steven Universe shirt contest ! I worked really hard on this and I’m very glad how it came out and I would really super love it if you guys could take some time to give me a 5 star rating on it !! ★Click here to rate
I always found it kinda funny that Hands seem to be a VERY reocurring theme in Steven Universe. From Peridot’s ship to just little cameos such as in Secret Team, Hands seem to be a rather big focusing point. I had questioned to myself why this is and
You know who else I want to have an empathy about Garnet and have some deep talks in front of the Barn with her? Oh Yeah

this is an artistic recreation of a very personal and in-depth conversation my wife @certified-kindergartner had with her mother many years ago. i tried to do justice to the sensitive nature of the original words. i hope you enjoy it.
