muy-mal: Sorceress/Death Fusion! This is the one I was dying to do since I started the project. I knew immediately what I wanted from a design standpoint right from the get-go, but I’ll admit that I struggled with the color palette and had to deviate
ianjq: This is the rough animatic of Garnet and Amethyst’s fusion dance from Coach Steven! It’s got the scratch music track that we animated to: “Freak” by Estelle. This was a super fun collaboration. I animated Garnet’s dancing and Rebecca

Very, very rough sketch of Maw-Sit-Sit, the fusion of Bismuth and Emmie. This fusion was briefly mentioned in the last chapter of Counterfeit Corruption. This is the first time she “came to be”. Bismuth had assumed that their fusion would have four
My original take on Sans and Papyrus fusion. Sans & Pap…..SNAP (sNas actually, bc that’s how I say his name 99% of time) , that is his name, Snap (lol) [okay the name is debatable, as for now I don’t have anything better lol](he’s

So we know from the pilot that the Crystal Temple was modeled after the fusion of the five crystal gems. We don’t know her name, but I figure it would be pretty recognizable considering her significance.Interestingly enough, we’ve only seen her top
Note: this a sister theory of Gem Fusion Theory: Arms. I advise you read that tooHave you noticed that fusions who aren’t mentally synched have extra eyes?In fact, their eyes even move independently when they think separately to show they’re not seeing
For the longest time I’ve been a huge opponent of the idea that Jasper will be redeemed. She’s violent, cruel, and has never been portrayed in a goofy or sympathetic light. That said, part of what makes Steven Universe so powerful is the message that
I like Garnet. She’s a admirable character, an awesome fighter and her sole song is the best one in the series. That said, for Steven Universe to unlock it’s true potential Ruby and Sapphire are going to need to split up, and do so for an extended
So I think it’s about time I start writing up a compilation of all the possible weapons that could result from Rose or Steven fusing with the other crystal gems. Let’s start off easy. The Temple Gem (Cubic Zirconium?): SwordAs many of you know, the
In Too Short To Ride we learned several things about Peridot, the most spectacular being that she can bend metal.Yes, metal, it’s not telekinesis. It may not have been clear if Steven said metal or mental, but he goes on to list her ability to take
Once upon a time remarked that Lapis Lazuli’s weapon (be it water manipulation or simply her wings) is unsuitable for forming fusion weapons with other gems.I was wrong. Very wrong.True, we haven’t seen it happen yet, but after more consideration
do you ever think about how Steven Universe created the concept of Fusion as a rather beautiful meditation on the concept of collective identity, how we are naturally different people (in small ways) with every single person we have a relationship with,
vanillakiwi: Going back through some requests. Rose Quartz and Lapis Lazuli fusion, Chalcedony

Here are my timed out storyboards for Pearl and Garnet’s fusion dance. Rebecca recommended that I look at the choreography from the music videos of the KPOP group Sunmi. I ended up using the song “Full Moon” as the temp track for their dance. I
I thought it would be cool to see the evolution of my Pearlapis fusion design, Angelite. The very top one is the first concept design of her where she had a different name “Kyanite”. Of course that did not last long as she looked too different. Eventually
seabreezy: Have I ever mentioned that I really like Lapearl? Because I do. I really, really do. So have this fan fusion of my girls; I changed her palette at least eight times. She is really cute!
mrhaliboot: My fan fusion of Amethyst and Peridot: Unakite! She’s a brash and opinionated loudmouth, but full of fun and laughter・ﾟ✧ I really wanted her to have suspenders and two mouths (gross), and also to look somewhat scary and intimidating.
While rewatching the series again, I figured out that the temple is most likely modeled after the fusion of Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Rose.It does have four sets of arms and lightly resembles Alexandrite with Rose’s hair.
itdontevenmata: The flowing beauty of Goldeen and the….Jynxiness…of Jynx.Messing around with Pokemon Fusion stuff. This one I tried to make with “elegance” in mind. Not sure if I quite captured that but it was fun to do nonetheless.Make your own
supersatansister: Shadna, ¼-Genie Princess! Shantae + Midna Fusion, with a little extra. “Her belly dancing is not only erotic and mesmerizing, it can also summon diverse Shadow Beasts from the Twilight realm. If that’s not enough, her Magic
celepom: Now the Shadow-Amy fusion, which I dub “Shady.” I definitely would NOT want to get hit with that Hammer. I took a bit of extra inspiration outside of Shadow and Amy with applying some inspiration from Rouge’s Sonic Heroes spy outfit. Figured

chakuufoxdragon: The bird in Giant Woman had a bunch of gems inside And when Opal hit it, the bird exploded into a bunch of tiny birds I think that was a gem fusion of a BUNCH of gems so gem fusions don’t have a number limit, any amount of gems can
artemispanthar: bryko: SHIT I CAN’T WAIT FOR THESE Hey wait, for “Fusion Crime”, wouldn’t a Garnet-Amethyst-Pearl fusion be, like, an enormous 6-armed woman? How would that be helpful for winning over Connie’s parents? Or can fused Gems shapeshift
eyjoey: Even if you don’t ship Pearlnet, you can still agree that their fusion dance is hella gay ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) on a more serious note, I realized I kinda messed up Pearl’s lower body but I only realized it upon finalizing, but I liked Garnet’s
prince-ivy: I have a short rant about this just about amazing ship. • okay so. a lot of people say that Pearlnet wouldn’t work since Garnet is a fusion. no no no. a fusion is a person of its own. Garnet has already said that she is her own person
pemprika: STEVENBOMB 3???? yes x500 :)) on top of that, a pearl/garnet fusion after waiting so long it’s finally coming true??? YES pearlnet foreversardonyx is so cute though…

projectormom: projectormom: pearll: POLYGEMS! POLYGEMS! POLYGEMS! POLYGEMS! PIOLYGEMS! POLYGE alex’s fusion dance is literally just pearl and ame dramatically taking garnet by the hands and i’m screaming #I just#love that to form Alexandrite
thinking about it, I think the most #Me theoretical SU character would be a Fusion between Pearl and Greg. Like, they’ll never fuse in-show but if they did the resulting Fusion would probably basically just be me.
sylvaur: I cannot believe I’ve actually waited this long to post these redraws I did back when they were just from a leak bUT HERE THEY ARE How awesome is it that Alex uses the fusion weapons, the original gems/fusions are like Alex’s little

That one time 3/5 of the Crystal Gems defeated Miley Cyrus on national television. Truly iconic.
A female version of Stevadie fusion. I wonder if that’s the thing. If all gems, including fusions, will be female. I don’t know. I’m just a supervillain.
charlesoberonn: The doctors’ names in this episode are references to fictional doctors who created living beings out of dead bodies, just like the mutant fusions.
