They stay fused all the time because they love each other, but mostly because sapphire doesn’t want to take any chances that ruby might try to sing again.

eh. I bet they fought a bunch when they met and were doing whatever together. like, a clicking of hateflag to loveflag from ruby’s aggressive sauce clashing with sapphire’s sweetness sauce

“Step up your game Ruby, break out the L word.”“…lesbian?”“The other L word.”“…lesbiiaans?”based on this scene as requested by this guy.

jas as dio and ruby and sapphire doin’ like laputa

I wonder if Chloe is more short or young. Or both? Ruby’s got no excuse though.

Nevermind…Too busy looking at Ruby

Night Blogger Steven is on a mission to text a different person from his contacts every single night

Step 3 can be changed to “crash Steven’s birthday party” when applicable

The final week of Steven’s Summer Adventures starts on Monday!

Just some observations…I can only guess Steven and Connie learned to dance from watching old Peanuts cartoons.“Our” Ruby (gem in the palm) in the middle.Peridot gets a new pair of clodhoppers.Peridot joins a Lion adventure?Peridot hates balloons,

there’s so many layers of cute to Garnet planning to have Steven meet Ruby and Sapphire for the first time on his birthday. Like, it would’ve come up one of two ways - Garnet decided the time had come, Steven was ready to find out she was a fusion. “But

Aaahh! That was so good!Just. Every character was so excellent in it! Amethyst was amazing, I loved how she just took charge of the whole situation and handled it so well! I loved how she acted like Jasper and her reactions with the Rubies were all so

So, like, if the Rubies had left and Doc didn’t come back to see if “Jasper” needed a ride (and if she could sit in “Jasper’s” lap again), how were the Crystal Gems going to get home? Like, last time they needed Lion as transport and Lion

I’m so intrigued by Rhodonite. She looks like a Fusion of a Pearl and a Ruby (given some of her features, gem cuts, and the fact that both members of the Fusion were considered ‘replaceable’) and I’m just so interested in their story. Also, Fluorite?

jen-iii: Do you guy understand how like, AMAZING it is to tune into a cartoon and to see Ruby and Sapphire just have…a completely normal relationship with it’s ups and downs but they truly care for each other? Like I can tune into any other channel

isabelohwell: Ruby is a sweetheart confirmed™

mandareeboo: Listen ya’ll Homeworld is hella important and so is plot and characters but the next twenty episodes could literally just be about Ruby and Sapphire planning a wedding and I’d be happy.

storyboos:SOME EXCELLENT RUBIES

pearl-and-other-gay-space-rocks: I can’t believe all of America is celebrating Ruby and Sapphire’s engagement with fireworks.

Awwwwww, after Sapphire accepts the proposal and Ruby starts spinning her around, the underside of her dress is in the shape of a heart!!!

Okay well I’m really kicking myself for not voicing my “Bismuth comes back for Ruby and Sapphire’s wedding” theory…

lapisbitch: bismuth dunking her head in the lava and screaming for like a minute after hearing the plot twist: big mood pearl and ruby and sapphire tackling bismuth to the ground and covering her in kisses: even bigger mood

passionpeachy: Watching Ruby and Sapphire kiss on the lips is so satisfying, nevermind that they’re literally two lesbians proposing and getting married on children’s programing, imo that kiss would’ve made cartoon history on its own. It’s not

Oh yeah, something I forgot to mention: CN, please please please make actual Ruby and Sapphire cake toppers!!!

bismuth:Ruby+Sapphire themed merch coming to Hot Topic in September + official product image for the Monogram 3D figural keyrings, release date unknown!

imo, Janelle Monae’s “What is Love” (here) is like a perfect Ruby/Sapphire song. Like, Ruby to Sapphire, Sapphire to Ruby, or like a duet, it’s just great

artemispanthar:This merch collection is really really cute The left side of the heart is Ruby’s vows and the right side is Sapphire’s. That’s so cute!!

panda-escapades: artemispanthar: artemispanthar: This merch collection is really really cute The left side of the heart is Ruby’s vows and the right side is Sapphire’s. That’s so cute!! Not sure where I can buy these but I want those pins. Message

Drawing this made me think about ruby wearing non-gem clothes. Then I thought about what she did to the rug at the motel. Which made me think about Ruby’s clothes burning off because she’s getting flustered. Which I imagine wouldn’t help very much.

muscle muscle ruby hustle

At first i thought it was a ruby-saphire song but then “ Take a moment to think of just: love, flexibility & trust” Why would they say thatI mean even if they fought how can this line come to placeI dont ship jaspis but this really does seem

Quick doodle of a what if idea I had where Ruby and Sapphire met because Rose thought that they complemented each other well in battle, so she put them both as a team. Turns out they complemented each other wayyy better than what she expected

askthefamilyoflove: Ruby: I’m pretty sure the squirt knows how much that necklace means I haven’t seen her take it off at all!Sapphire: I’m sure she adores the way her Mommy is such a big softy like I do~Ruby: H-hey now, I admit that having each

askthefamilyoflove: Ruby: We like playing games with eachother, and basically just enjoy being together. It dosen’t really matter what we’re doing to be honest.Sapphire: Garnet seems to like Kitchen Calamity the best out of the board games we play.Ruby:

askthefamilyoflove: Sapphire: It’s strange, even though Garnet had lived in England with us only for her first four years of life, She still has a very subtle accent..Ruby: It’s awesome! Our baby girl is the coolest kid ever ehehee!Sapphire: And

askthefamilyoflove: Sapphire: Aww! She’s learning so fast~usually our Mothers Day gifts are rocks she thinks are pretty and kisses on the forehead, but since we sent her to Kindergarten she’s been learning how to write and-..Ruby, are you okay hon?Ruby:

It’s Steven’s Birthday and they all go out on a lil beach date and Steven just gushes over how cute they are together the entire time

Corrupted!Ruby concept sheet!Since corrupted gems seem to excreate some weird stuff, I made it so that Ruby spews out hot lava. As if she wasn’t dangerous enough :D

….Okay so I love elasticitymudflap‘s Homeworld!au and now they made new character designs and story and I fell into this hell(Okay so theres different varieties of Sapphires but the Red ones are called Rubies so Sapphire is actually Blue Sapphire

askthefamilyoflove: Ruby: Beach City Funland is our go-to place when we go on our little outings!Sapphire: Garnet just loves going there, she’s quite good at the side attraction games.Ruby: She’s gonna clean out that place one of these days, I can’t

Headcanon that Garnet gets her swimming abilities from Ruby and only Ruby because Sapphire can’t swim

You know what I love most about Ruby and Sapphire? I love how mutual their love is.Like, they could have just had Ruby freak out over Sapphire more or vice versa and kinda show a bit of an unbalanced love situation that I have seen a lot with other media.

“You’re terrible with a sword,” Sapphire ground her teeth and struck with as much force as she could muster, sacrificing proper form in her anger. The ruby hardly had to lean out of the way; their bladed forearm stopping her weapon in its tracks.

You know what nearly killed me? How Garnets voice was when ‘Ruby and Sapphire’ were talkingWhen ‘Ruby’ was talking, her voice took on a much rougher quality and when ‘Sapphire’ was talking, it came out smoother and softer than what Garnets

AU in which Sapphire is a Siren and caused Sailor Ruby’s ship to go down but Sapphire then decides that the Sailor is cute and helps Ruby out to an island where they now live together inside a little cove with Sapphire singing sweet tunes to her human

Me and rhinocio were disscussing different scenes for the fic to introduce Rose and Pearl to Ruby and Sapphire’s unique powers and one of them was that they flip their shit over Ruby being able to swim in Lava

I LOVE deadwooddross‘s more alien take on the Gems and when I saw the snippets they did for Ruby and Sapphire, I had to give my own take on it!(I gave Ruby like ‘Rocky’ skin that had bits of heat escaping from the cracks because I headcanon that

askthefamilyoflove: Ruby: It ended up raining on our first date! Sapphire: We however, made the most of it. It ended up being quite fun! Ruby: Jumping through puddles helped get rid of those ‘First Date’ jitters ehehe. Garnet: Our first date was

askthefamilyoflove: //(( Here’s my explanation on Sapphire’s hair and Ruby’s glasses! Ruby has Dyslexia but is too stubborn to wear her glasses even though they help out a lot. Sapphire fixes that~ Script under cut//)) Keep reading

They’re going Christmas shopping together because Steven wants to get a buncha stuff for his family and friends and Garnet is large and strong and will carry the presents and Steven when his feetsies hurt from shopping all day( Don’t worry, Steven

‘Ahh, we kinda…got off on the wrong foot there soo..let’s start over?… Hi, My name’s Ruby.’‘Hello Ruby, I’m Sapphire. It’s so good to finally meet you. I think our future together will be very bright.’‘Haha! How would you

I can’t believe the Rube Cube…Ruby^3…these little squares..are r e al

I love the fact that all the Rubies are rough little nuggets with eachother and that its like a common banter between themIt makes it so much sweeter now that we can see how GENTLE our Ruby is when she’s with Sapphire

I have a lot of feelings over The Answer and Ruby and Sapphire’s differences in their Caste and as such their mindsets so im just gonna spew em out hereSo first off, I ADORE the way they did Ruby and Sapphire’s different little ticks while regarding

askthefamilyoflove: Sapphire: I know that my wife has the muscles that make Greek gods jealous at their perfection but that doesn’t mean that I enjoy the extENDED STARING THANK YOU VERY MUCH Ruby: She’s so cute~

So since Alexandrite can breath FIRE, that must mean it’s Ruby’s ability? Can Ruby breath fire??? I want to s ee i t???

I know they said that Greg mostly took care f baby Steven, but I like the idea that the Gems helped sometimes and that Garnet did the best faces for baby Steven :3
