recursorsprite: So, originally, I only had a passing interest in the existence of a Steven Universe Comic. Then I saw this: Oh my god, they’re so in character, they actually know what they’re doing. Source seriously though if this isn’t
recursorsprite: You know… I wonder if time passes by slower in Rose’s room or something. I mean, Steven looked like he was in there for quite a while, but when he flew out the door, it looked like the other Gems had only been outside for a few seconds
recursorsprite: Hmm, I just noticed upon watching “So Many Birthdays” that after Pearl realizes that Steven being half human means he can age to death, Amethyst asks her “can’t we fix him?” instead of turning to Garnet. I really didn’t catch
recursorsprite: I wonder what were the circumstances surrounding Steven’s birth? I’m assuming it didn’t happen the same way a human would. Did Rose just disappear in a poof of light, leaving behind baby Steven? That seems the most likely since
recursorsprite: So… the Gems don’t need to eat (or sleep), but they can if they want to… so I guess they shapeshift themselves a digestive system just for that purpose? But according to the SU crew, they don’t bleed, therefore they don’t have
recursorsprite replied to your post: Remember that one episode of Teen Tita… That episode was awesome. I totally was. Definitely one of my favorites. Or at least one of the ones I remember the most
recursorsprite: I find it interesting that Pearl is left handed, if we’re going by the assumption that the Gems emulate human behaviour based on what they see humans doing (as artemispanthar pointed out to me). Left-handed people were persecuted for
recursorsprite: What is the relationship between humans and magic in SU? The people don’t seem to be fazed by the Crystal Gems’ existence, but are there any other sources of magic in the world? Or is that only the people in Beach city? We’ve also
recursorsprite: I really like how in “Frybo” Steven pretty much immediately tries to get the gem shard to Pearl after he finds it and figures out what it does. I mean, there are so many shows where the exact same premise would end up with the kid
recursorsprite: Look, to all the people complaining about Steven Universe because Rebecca Sugar left Adventure Time to make it. Stop. Stop it now please. You don’t own her life. She’s free to do whatever she wants. If she wants to make her own show,
recursorsprite: Since Pearl can drive, I wonder if she has a driving license. I’m trying to imagine how her driving exam would’ve gone. …I can imagine her failing into the double digits and only passing when Amethyst didn’t notice/was asleep/was
recursorsprite: Read More
recursorsprite: Those two weeks must’ve felt pretty long… Have I mentioned how much I love “Steven The Sword Fighter”?
recursorsprite: princesssilverglow: artemispanthar: I don’t really understand why people feel like the Gems’ reaction to Steven dying of old age in “So Many Birthdays” needs some deep explanation. Like being sad and crying hysterically because
recursorsprite: “Pearl, this tree will die eventually.” “Oh Garnet, everything dies eventually. At least it will last a century or two, right?”
recursorsprite: artemispanthar: Oh. So Coach Steven has aired in Canada now. OK. Yeah. It really has. I was really surprised since I live in Canada myself, but since I don’t have the channel anyway I guess I wouldn’t have been any more aware than
princesssilverglow: recursorsprite: princesssilverglow: artemispanthar: adventuretitan: There’s an upcoming SU episode about Amethyst that’s gonna be pretty tragic Yea, maybe this 3 month hiatus has really been a courtesy so the fandom could
recursorsprite: Can Pearl walk on water outside of her room? Because if she can, I feel like she might forget that the others can’t and then she just: And they decided henceforth never again to let Pearl lead in areas with large bodies of water.
recursorsprite: If you watch the SU SDCC panel, at the beginning when Estelle (in character as Garnet) tells them to summon their weapons, you can actually see Deedee reach up to her forehead to summon her spear like Pearl would. It’s such a small
recursorsprite: Did some experimenting with colours and gradients, I think I like how this turned out. I’m getting better at using tablets *victorious fist pump*

recursorsprite replied to your post: Episode guesses and thoughts for the c… Do you know Steven say after “Did you see what I did?”. I can’t tell if the last word is “action” or “accident” or something else. If it’s “accident”,
recursorsprite replied to your post “mc-burnett replied to your post “Hey I watched another video of…” The mystery… it grows more mysterious… Dude, I know. Like, its just one line and we already knew part of it but now its
recursorsprite: I tried. It was a lot smoother before I put it on the internet, can anyone help me with that?
recursorsprite replied to your post: Seriously though look, she could just … Sooner or later someone’s going to die from cute. I have this theory that the reason episodes that sound really cute end up being horrific or sad is because if they
recursorsprite replied to your post: While I can’t say for absolutely sure … The knowledge that Rose was taller than Garnet indicates that her height definitely isn’t an indication of fusion either yea, exactly. I know the two gems thing
dance-like-a-tree replied to your post: recursorsprite replied to your post: … I honestly hate how people think that her height makes her a fusion. There are people IN REAL LIFE that are as tall or even taller than her, seriously. There was
recursorsprite: dance-like-a-tree: It appears that someone along the way changed Ian’s comment on the rough animation of the dance for Sugilite to say “This is the rough animatic of Garnet and Pearl’s fusion dance from Coach Steven!” when it
saraaza replied to your post: recursorsprite said:Er so what’s … as silly as it sounds this actually is really nice to hear„, i really really reaaaally don’t want spoilers and the more i imagine The World getting spoiled the worse
recursorsprite: Pearl and Garnet harmonizing produces one of the most heavenly sounds ever known to mankind. Also I imagine the voice actors probably had a ton of fun with this episode. Y'know, I remember in that one interview Deedee Magno Hall and
recursorsprite replied to your post: I get what folks are saying when they … If all the other universes melted in the same way the Stevens did, you could get some pretty good angst outta that too. quite true! And it’s arguably even worse
recursorsprite replied to your post: It kinda bugs me when folks think Pear… I find it quite strange too when people say that Pearl must care about Steven so much because she was especially close to Rose. It seems pretty clear that they all love
nopalrabbit: artemispanthar: recursorsprite: Oh man did the previews of the two-part special give me ideas. The Gems having to face themselves is a situation that I think could go a lot of ways. I was sort of thinking about that time in the original
recursorsprite: So, apparently, “Space Race” almost made Surasshu cry. …Brace yourselves everyone. Feels are incoming. Oh wow, as if I wasn’t already excited and expecting some forlorn bittersweet-type stuff in it. Extra hyped now This whole
mushroom-2spooky-bear: recursorsprite: I think it would be appropriate for all of us to take a moment and just appreciate HOW ADORABLE STEVEN WAS IN THIS EPISODE. Look at him, he’s just so excited he can’t even say anything he just points I mean,
recursorsprite replied to your post: jazzmanisineffect said:huh, it lo… That is really awful actually. I’m going to be really frustrated if a handful of people just ruined this for everyone else. Ain’t that always the way, though?
recursorsprite: I did an art collab thing with my pal Lero, who as you can see, is about ten million times better at painting than I am. I did the sketch btw ahaha. Here’s the other half of the collab.
recursorsprite: I just so happened to have drawn this for a friend’s birthday, so here I have something to present for pearlnet bomb.
recursorsprite: Naturally, instead of finishing a chem lab report, I decided to try out inktober instead. This is that pokemon fusion thing that seems to be so popular no? http://pokemon.alexonsager.net/93/125
