Yeah so I’m pretty sure the reason why Change Your Mind feels like a series finale is because it was probably GOING to be the series finale if the show didn’t get picked up for a 6th season. Like how Ocean Gem back in Season 1 was at first
graceybird replied to your post: I was watching a rerun of Steven Unive… Wouldn’t be surprised if that was the “Ocean Gem”, given the color of the gemstone it’s more likely than the “Mirror Gem,” if it is one of the two. That’s
See, that’s a dried up ocean if I ever saw one. Looks like Steven popped into the episode “Ocean Gem” while time-hopping (just guessing though since I haven’t actually seen it)
kasukasukasumisty: It’s time for humanity to believe in Steven (X) Steven Universe mid-season two-part special - “Mirror Gem/Ocean Gem” is airing next week, on Thursday at 6:30/5:30c.
Oh shoot, I just realized something. It’s unlikely “Mirror Gem” or “Ocean Gem” will have a new fusion (either a 3-Gem or Garnet/Pearl) because the only new voice credit was for Lapis Lazuli. So unless Lapis is the fusion, there won’t be a
Some thoughts and predictions for tomorrow’s two-parter “Mirror Gem” and “Ocean Gem”. Under a read more because some of the speculation references the Season 1B episode list which could be considered spoilers, as well as
Wow, that was intense. Still processing. Need to give it a proper rewatch tonight when I’m free. Great episodes though. Some quick initial thoughts under the cut: So, confirmed: Monsters are Gems (we were pretty sure of this already) confirmed:

keepbeachcityweird: HOLY MOLY THE OCEAN IS GONE!!!! I don’t know how it happened! The beach is a desert! I can’t even formulate coherent theories right now. Government subsidized desalinization for Illuminati pool parties? Ecco the Dolphin LARPers
keepbeachcityweird: HOLY MOLY THE OCEAN IS BACK!!!! Steven and his friends got the ocean back! Not that I was personally worried. I don’t particularly enjoy swimming or boating or the outdoors in general, but the ocean was the backbone of our small
When the Gems are fighting their doubles, the fight theme is mixed with their individual music theme styles (like Pearl’s has a piano, for example). Its really cool, I hope they post this track.
stevencrewniverse: From creator and show runner Rebecca Sugar: A few of the boards I jumped in and did for Mirror Gem! My stuff is mixed in there toward the end, inside the incredible Lapis sequence boarded by Paul Villeco!

Remember a few weeks back when we were talking about how this fandom loves the mundane even though the show is about amazing fantastical things, and we focus on the Gems doing super mundane normal every day things? ‘cause like that’s how I
kasukasukasumisty: I’m imagining Gems home(s) to be actually a lot like Crystal Citadel from AT Yea, I’m definitely not picturing a planet (they never really say ‘planet’, they just say 'home’) so I’m thinking of some
shikai-of-the-4th-world replied to your post: dance-like-a-bush said:I think it… I really expect some conflict with him and the gems in a future episode Well that won’t go well for him but yea, the Gems really seemed to not like him.
I’m kinda surprised by how many people are eager to believe the Crystal Gems are these evil vicious manipulative bad guys all because Lapis had an issue with them and said not to trust them. We’ve known the Crystal Gems for 26 episodes and
jeffliujeffliu: Garnet roll from my boards for Ocean Gem! I’m glad I finally get to share this!

notnights: I’m, a little confused as to how Lapis’ name is spelled? I know the actual gem name is Lapis Lazuli, but the credits spell it differently. iTunes’ subtitles also spell it the correct way, however iTunes has been wrong before on subtitles,

I was thinking, how did Lapis end up in the mirror in the first place. I think well since she didn’t blame the trio or humans for trapping her, maybe other Crystal Gems (who are probably corrupted) trapped her to keep her from revealing anything to
