warlordrexx: Everyone wanted a video version, so I threw one together. Don’t expect much, I pretty much just laid down my favorite angles and then threw down a random music and sound track. On the plus side, it does have three extra shots. A

when you hear a reggaeton song in Spanish and then you look up the translation. then you realize how…blunt brash and brutally honest and heavy it actually when its translated to English. some songs sound much nicer in Spanish sometimes.
I used to be in a band called Stamen. The band is dead now but I was asked to put together a demo type cd of the songs we had recorded. Each one of the cd labels and album art was hand drawn and painted by me. If you are curious about what we sounded

The Golden Palominos - Clean Plate . This band is pretty interesting (and generally one that i like quite a bit) their sound morphs quite a lot over their career since it’s almost more of a revolving door artist’s collective than a set band
When i listen to Devin Townsend’s The Death of Music… it makes me float on a cloud of my own tears and wonder… and then any music i listen to afterward sounds …dead. Empty. It is The Death of Music, and it is a really fucking
The Howling Void - Shadows Over the Cosmos . This is just as epic and amazing as it was the first time i blogged it a few months ago. It’s like… just perfect. This is the sound that circulates through my body and mind
Skinny Puppy - Knowhere? . This is probably not easy for everyone to appreciate - it’s noisy and has so many layers of sound that it might seem pretty muddy. …but goddamn… it is so epic. It is aural cataclysm. The sound of the last
i could die listening to this music and it would be OKAY if there were a heaven, i think it would be a roiling cloudbank of pure sound and feeling, where nothing has form and there is only vibration, energy, and space.
Talking Heads - Crosseyed and Painless . Have i posted this one before? Probably. …But yeah, it is such an amazing song. That bassline is a powerful drug … “This is what math sounds like to me. But I love it!” -youtube commenter
Prick - Other People . This is a pretty great song. It’s probably the most Nine Inch Nails sounding track on the album too, which is of course because Trent Reznor produced it and even did additional vocals on this song. Prick’s self titled
Ministry - Impossible . This song is so awesome… i really love the way the music evokes the sound and feel of tortured metal about to buckle under stress
Cubanate - Hinterland . The album Interference, which was Cubanate’s last (and way better than their previous works) is pretty fucking epic… pummeling with both heavy sound as well as lyrical feels. There are a lot of awesome songs to choose
Revolting Cocks - Dead End Streets. This doesn’t really sound much like RevCo that i know (more than a decade between this and their previous album will do that i guess, also Jello Biafra singing on this track!) but it’s awesome nonetheless
The Howling Void - Mollusk. This is from The Howling Void’s first album. It’s pretty magnificent too…To this day i have yet to find another band that has a sound like THV. The power of the keyboards is staggering, and the guitar and “metal”
