putmeinherplace: Of course, the bondage is barely tight enough, but there is such a joyfull mood in this picture, it illustrates so well how I’d like to experience bondage, that I couldn’t resist sharing.
The Quatermass Experiment, by Nigel Kneale, Penguin 1959. From a charity shop in Nottingham. “Cut to Quatermass. He presses the master switch. An indicator light flashes. Cut to the rocket…very, very slowly, the hatch begins moving outwards.
Last night’s lighting experiments with Kendra. When you have a talented model all you need to worry about is the physics. No Photoshop required. Comments/Questions?
Here is another sample of my experiment to defy the Laws of Physics: shooting a several-second exposure in bright daylight using powerful lighting equipment. Due to my stubbornness and previously mentioned boredom with photography, I applied a little
Another fun lighting experiment with Kendra. I appreciate that she puts up with me. And see more of her and many other girls in NSFW Issue 6! Comments/Questions?
Colored light experiment with the wonderful Lola. Her shape here reminds me of a Frank Frazetta drawing. See more of her in NSFW Magazine Issue 6. Comments/Questions?
She is a tragic figure.Stacy has made a lot of wrong decisions in her life, especially in the last several years. You can almost set your watch by it: If a decision needs to be made, especially an important one in a hurry, Stacy’s probably going
In my continuing use of underwater photography with long exposures and artificial light, I’m developing work that seems much more quiet and spiritual, which I suppose is where my mind has been for most of this year. Here is another recent example.
A lot of people have been using the phrase “looks like a painting” describing my most recent color experiments, but I never quite know what they mean by that. Though completely unintentional, this shot Lola and I took this week is the first
These lighting experiments are taking me much farther than I ever thought they would. Now that I’ve moved to a larger place, I have far more space than my cramped bedroom to shoot in, leading to more movement for the models to express themselves.
These lighting experiments are getting more and more dramatic and dynamic, similar to the kinds of contorted, contrasty figures I used to draw and paint throughout high school and college. I guess my history of absorbing all aspects of comic books is
Mallory, from my new lighting tests. Comments/Questions?
This lighting technique has probably been done before, but working to discover it on my own was important and fairly rewarding to me. Mallory was a sweetheart for letting me use her as a test subject, and as you can see she makes it all look easy. Comment
More of my newer lighting experiment, this time with my good buddy Jesslyn. We did this shoot almost a month ago, so I’ve had that much time to mentally mull it over. I think next time I try this I can do it better, but I feel pretty good about
I hadn’t done any new lighting experiments in a while, so I decided to try again with my new model, Angelique, who I met in a camera store two weeks ago. Her energy and enthusiasm to just dance and have a good time was the kind of fun, easy shoot
More fun lighting experiments on a drunken evening. Also, there are ONLY 9 DAYS LEFT for my Wanderlust Project!!! Thank you again for all of your support, BUT there is still time to donate to my once-in-a-lifetime photography book project through Europe.
On Hattie Watson: From my small but loyal following I have been repeatedly asked what Hattie is like in person, which I always find kind of funny. You have to realize I’ve only met the lady twice now, so I would never admit to knowing what makes
Brooke Eva taking part in more lighting experiments. Yes, her hair naturally does things like that. So great. Photo Assitant: Lola Agnosia Comments/Questions?
This was only the second shoot I had with Lady Sensuality, all the way back in January. It was also when I felt like I had finally perfected my lighting experiments, which means that was the start of me getting bored with doing those lighting experiments.
Experimenting with some basic body painting and plaster collars. I love open-minded models. Comments/Questions?
Another from the backlog of buddy Jesslyn from my old apartment, taken back in 2012. This was simply a light experiment all in-camera with natural light. See more of Jess on the cover of my new Kitties & Titties 2014 calendar, you won’t be disappoi
Here is a favorite unpublished image of my buddy Jesslyn from last year. This was simply a light experiment, all in-camera. See more of Jess on the cover of my new Kitties & Titties 2014 calendar, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you all again
I now have an ETSY shop! I’ve started with just a few images on there for now, but if you have found a photo of mine on Tumblr or Facebook you’d like to see up on there, please let me know. Thanks!
Model: Raven LeFaye - I’ve really enjoyed experimenting with these in-camera double exposures. Not relying on Photoshop or any kind of digital manipulation to create the raw image has made me feel like I did when I only shot film, the fun uncertaint
After several years of focusing on natural light, I’ve decided to go back to my first love, experimenting with artificial lighting. I will be posting a lot of rough draft images, like the one above, none of which I think are successful, but at least
