pro-tearbender: Beginnings Part 1, as summarized by this liveblog {x}, edited lightly by myself to get the important bits. When Korra was heading to the Fire Nation to find allies, she was attacked by a spirit and left on an island. Her memory washed
The Legend of Korra - S02E06 The Sting REACTION
I really don’t get why there are some people hating so much the amniesia trope in Legend of Korra, like is it cliché and overused? yes it is, but if it works, why not to use it anyway? and for the issue she’s going through this season it

Why that scene with Korra and Asami was devastating
This ending just wrecked me, okay? Because if you look at Korra you’ll see she’s feeling the same way she felt at the end of book 1 She defeated the villain, but still ended up broken and powerless And then Aang came in and saved the day
KORRA NATION
sifu-korras: If you really look at the storyline as a whole so far, it’s really no surprise that Korra is so broken by the end of the finale. It’s been about 7-8 months since book 1 started and the following has happened: 170 AD: Amon terrorizes
crystalzelda: Even though I am completely and entirely devastated by Korra’s physical injuries, mental distress and what seems to me a pretty bad case of PTSD, it’s so fucking raw that they decided to portray her trauma as exactly what it was - an
andkorra: Korra crying during finales
Watching the finale made me realize another thing. During book 2 people complained that Korra’s avatar state was weak compared to Aang’s in atla, but now we see, it’s not that her avatar state was weak, she just had not entered Berserk
