graceybird: Some photos of the physical SU dog tags and the stickers that come with them for those curious! Still looking for the tag with the art in the top pic if anybody finds it and wouldn’t mind selling/trading.
graceybird replied to your post “You know how, like, a year or so ago Cartoon Network used to have…” Man I still remember all of the really cute variety of animated bumpers they had back in the day, like cartoon cartoon Friday era. I wish they
graceybird: artemispanthar: In “So Many Birthdays”, when Steven is talking about how his dad made him that costume and how it brings him special birthday luck, and Amethyst makes this face which is just… I dunno, it’s very “wow, you’re too
graceybird: graceybird: My Garnet figure fell for the 345473th time and I squawked out “Garnet!” when I heard it hit the hit the desk. My roommate commented “It’s a good thing Garnet sounds like darn it.” Darn it Garnet. I love it. I hope
graceybird: almeow: Steven cries openly and that’s important. Steven is the main character of the show, and is around the same age as the show’s target audience (7-13) on CartoonNetwork so in many ways her resents of the age group they are
graceybird: artemispanthar: I can’t decide whether “Dance of Swords” or “Amalgam” is my favorite Steven Universe track. They’re both so good… Actually all the music is amazing but those two tracks really get me the most at the moment.
graceybird: ontheoppositesideofthesea: so did anyone else notice steven freaking out at seeing the swords or?? YES!Was wondering if someone was gonna bring it up. Looks like his experiences with them in the swordfighter ep did affect him. Nice little
graceybird replied to your post:I wonder if they’re going to release a sneak peek… Ugh man I hope there isn’t another hiatus so soon. I think I read Coach Steven would be next as I saw it was suppose to come out in May but no specific date.
graceybird: artemispanthar: I only just now realized that in the flashback sequence in “Serious Steven”, Amethyst is still sleeping after the ride breaks and the teacups crash into the boardwalk. There’s even a snoring sound playing and it’s
graceybird: oelm: DIAL IT DOWN A NOTCH, PEARL Pearl’s expressions and gestures in this are pure gold. Well everyone’s are, but Pearl’s especially.

graceybird: artemispanthar: I’m really curious about what it takes to actually seriously damage a Gem. I know something can cause their gem to crack but what? It has to be something specific and powerful. Amethyst was slammed into the beach with
graceybird: princesssilverglow: After watching the Sneak Peek I noticed Garnet did it again. Like in the first episode when Amethyst said it was their idea to get the Cookie Cats Garnet said: “The whole thing was my idea.” And now in the Sneak

airbenderredacted: artemispanthar: graceybird: The silhouettes of Pearls past and present. Hm, the only one I haven’t seen in some way from production art stuff is the third one… I think it’s Pearl from the old SU poster in a different outfit.
graceybird: artemispanthar: graceybird: The silhouettes of Pearls past and present. Hm, the only one I haven’t seen in some way from production art stuff is the third one… Yeah same. Also haven’t seen the outfit of the first on any released
graceybird replied to your post “the video link for the Japanese SU opening doesn’t work for me D:…” Mine only worked through mobile by some miracle. Other than that idk what works. OH, no that’s super helpful! I didn’t even bother
graceybird replied to your post “hm, the CN Shop no longer has that Tiger Millionaire shirt. I’m…” huh weird. I also have one, I wonder why they took it down. Are you sure you didn’t have any weird filters on? yep, I went and checked
graceybird: emilyalien: EVERY TIME I DRAW AMETHYST SHE GETS SMALLER AND SMALLER SEND HELP SO CUTE
graceybird: artemispanthar: Pearl seems to have a hard time physically containing emotions (or controlling them at all). She shakes when she’s angry or really happy, does that spontaneous twirly thing when she’s gushing about the strawberry field.
graceybird replied to your post “I wonder a lot about whether or not Gems would have heartbeats” I wonder about this a lot too. But there are indications they might? Like Pearl blushes and Amethyst got food poisoning from eating expired food so???
graceybird: Often I see posts about people being excited that because the Gems can shapeshift it means they choose to look the way they do. And I thought so too and that it was totally cool. But I remember in an article where Rebecca talked about why
graceybird replied to your post: Really wish people would put fanfics u… even then it’s a pain on mobile… Yea, that too. I don’t even understand why read mores don’t work on mobile, its a native feature to Tumblr. I don’t

graceybird replied to your post: Do you ever have a song or a band or a… Yeah, some songs from Sting or Annie Lennox take me back to sitting in the back seat on road trips, even specific memories from them. And Mew’s Theme from the first Pokemon
graceybird: wyrmeguy: The whole SU fandom right now Aw man, this is adorable!
graceybird replied to your post: Waaaait, if the mirror in “Mirror Gem”… Also Steven’s holding a mirror in the first clip. Persoanlly I think the Amethyst bit might be from Indirect Kiss and Steven is like desperately trying to fix her
graceybird replied to your post: I was watching a rerun of Steven Unive… Wouldn’t be surprised if that was the “Ocean Gem”, given the color of the gemstone it’s more likely than the “Mirror Gem,” if it is one of the two. That’s
graceybird replied to your post: In “Rose’s Room”, after Pearl shuts of… Oh, I thought you were going to make the point that she shouldn’t use it in the house specifically because it would give away their position or something…considering
graceybird replied to your post: Y’know, the red marks on Steven’s jack… Reminded me of the burn marks on Connie and Steven in Lion 2 as well oh hey it does look like that only a bit less red failuremanure replied to your post: Y’know,
graceybird replied to your post:lennat replied to your post:… Personally I think a skunk fits Amethyst quite well. They have associations with self-confidence and assertiveness but also playfulness and sensuality, all of which I think fit her.
graceybird replied to your post: I’m curious what kind of promos they’r… Yeah! I hope they give it good marketing akin to Giant Woman if not bigger and better! Same, I mean it’d be a real waste to not promo the heck out of it because
graceybird replied to your post “y’know, I know “An Indirect Kiss” was boarded by Raven & Paul but some…” Oh man I thought I was the only one who thought this. I think for me not only the style but the action and poses reminded me

kasukasukasumisty replied to your post: I always wonder when people draw Pearl… maybe they don’t pay attention to the show that much and use the first reference they find on google Yea, probably. Its just strange to me because sometimes its
crystal-gems: graceybird: Looks like we’re getting the lil’ Garnet and Amethyst Stibs next week~ Much to Pearl’s dismay AH Ahh, I knew those were from “Keep Beach City Weird!”. This looks adorable
graceybird replied to your post: If anyone sees that promo with the sha… I saw it in the morning around the time Classic Tom and Jerry was on I think? What an odd time for it to be on, I wouldn’t have thought of that. I’ll record

graceybird replied to your post: Oh dang, the new issue of the SU comic… I don’t know if it’s “canon” or not but from my experience my guest comic had to be approved by folks who work on the show, like for continuity and in-character-ness
graceybird replied to your post: shikai of the 4th world replied to yo… I remember in an interview Jeremy and Coleman talking about wanting to do more serious plot lines at first but were told to make the first ones more light and fun. Guess
