We’re going to be at fort Carson by March 31st! Super happy :)
Apparently the people I can’t wait to get away from are aiming for Fort Carson too. I am petty enough that this bothers me >.<
I keep switching between being terribly excited to leave Alaska and move to Colorado and being terrified of Colorado and leaving Alaska lol.
So I misunderstood what my husband was saying earlier. He thought our report date was the 31st of March but it isn’t. If they don’t approve extending here for some more time to pack up, we may have to be at Fort Carson in a month or less.
I have to call Fort Carson and ask about housing but I’m terrified and anxious and don’t know what to ask, how to get a house, if there’s even a house available, and I have to do all this to help take the stress off my husband because
Crossing my fingers and hoping Nick gets his official orders today so I can call housing at Fort Carson.
I am exhausted.
The first picture’s the sunset last night in Alaska when our buddy Barry was taking us to the airport. (I can’t tell you how much Nick and I miss him) The third is on the way to Colorado Springs, and the last picture is the view from our hotel
View from the housing office on Fort Carson! We got our house today. It’s a red brick townhouse, and the outside looks kind of shitty but we love our house already <3 We move in tomorrow!
Today in a nutshell We woke up early, and Nick was so disoriented and grumpy it was almost comical. We took a cab to Fort Carson, and the woman there at the housing office pissed us off a little. It was stupid really, but Nick was already pissed. She
Also, some pretty pics of Colorado. We really love it here so far, I’m glad Nick got stationed here <3
Colorado is so beautiful.
I love my little family <3
The mountains were looking exceptionally beautiful today.
The mountains were really pretty on the way home last night.
Enjoyed a nice walk on post today :) Juvia saw soldiers on the other side of the road and got so upset when she realized they weren’t Nick lol. Poor thing. He leaves tomorrow morning to go to Texas to *finally* get our car back!
The sunrise this morning was absolutely gorgeous
I love it when it gets dark and cloudy and cool outside like today.
It’s cold, snowing, and very windy here in Colorado.
Went to the zoo today! I got to feed giraffes today and it was the best thing ever. I saw so many animals I’ve never seen in person before, like that mountain lion, or the rhinoceros or the hippos. In the reptile house, there was the sweetest
It was so beautiful and peaceful on our walk tonight<3
I had a dream that my parents tried to make me move to fort Bragg with them. They were getting mad at me, and I didn’t want to go, and it was only towards the end of that dream that my dream self remembered I am with Nick at fort Carson now.
I live in such a beautiful place and it never fails to impress me. I love it here in Colorado<3 If you get stationed at Fort Carson, I highly recommend visiting Garden of the Gods. Do not delete text or self promote, thanks
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood<3 Juvia and I had a great walk :)
I had another nice walk today and it was beautiful out. I’m getting used to the heat a little. I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of that mountain view. When I got home from my walk, my husband was home. It was a surprise because
It was very dark and stormy looking so I waited five minutes and it cleared up for our walk lol.
I hope my Colorado friends and followers are staying safe in this weather. Here on Carson, the roads are nearly flooding over onto the sidewalks with hail. The first picture is my front yard and the second is the road with all the hail D: Stay safe!
Tonight was my perfect ideal fall weather and I really enjoyed my walk tonight :)
I just realized it's been six months
Everyone on Fort Carson please stay safe!!!!
If you're on Fort Carson stay safe
Juvia made friends with a pretty girl named Laika at the dog park on post today :) It was such a nice evening at the park :D
Even though I felt nauseous the whole walk home, it was so beautiful outside. And there’s nothing like getting enough sun ^.^
Sunrise and early morning on Fort Carson I took Nick to work so I could have the car to make it to his ceremony later. I walked Juvia on this path behind the houses and we were trailing these soldiers who were talking about Frozen lol. When we passed
The grass I’m standing in is the yard on the side of my house and this is the view. It was such a beautiful morning.
I had a nice walk today.
My pumpkins! I JUST finished them lol. If you’re on Fort Carson, I do believe trick or treating is from 6-8 pm tonight, be safe!!!
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood <3
It was really pretty outside the other night, I really love my home :)
Post gym selfie :) I finally made it to the gym here on post and it’s SO NICE! I’ve had a really great day so far :)
Nick came home early from work because of the snow so we played with Juvia in the backyard for a bit :) She was so excited to play outside lol
It’s absolutely gorgeous todayI walked both the dogs separately for 45 mins each. There were quite a few soldiers doing PT outside and Juvia pleasantly surprised me by not pulling so hard when they went by. It’s a fantastic day :)
We went to the park on post and she seemed to have fun, despite not leaving my side
Fort Carson had fantastic fireworks tonight, so kickass. If you’re still struggling coming home because of traffic, please be safe
Marley had a blast at the park today :)
The mountains are disappearing. I’m hoping we don’t get the amount of snow my family in Maryland got
Get a load of that sunset
I came home after dropping my husband off in the barracks on Fort Knox to read news about a fire breaking out in Arapahoe Village on Fort Carson. Naturally I panicked because it was on my street and I thought I’d have to drive back to Colorado but I’m

I’m so loving being back in Colorado 😍 😊💜🌄🌈🌼
Taken from the hospital on Fort Carson. The tops of the mountains have snow!!!
So when my husband went shopping i stayed home playing Fallout 4 and after he leaves, there’s a man standing on my front steps with his face pressed to the screen door. He kept looking around and ran off when I got up and he saw my dogs. Then i
They had MPs protecting the commissary employees in the toilet paper aisle at the commissary today. This is so wild.
There was a grass fire across the street from where I live.
