You know something, I’m feeling pretty bold and talkative tonight, and bitter too, so I’m gonna be talking about something I hate. Being online in a fandom can be both super amazing and also super angering in more ways than one, the specific one
beyondthetemples-ooc:From what I can tell, it’s less a sign of the fandom/character, and more a sign of the times. I think reader-shipping fics are just going slightly out of style. It used to be I could search any character in any fandom, and some [char]x

all the hoax Gems and fake leaks that pop up in SU fandom remind me of the early days in the pokemon fandom (like, around when Gold and Silver first came out), when people would make sprites of new pokemon in the next game (or secret pokemon hidden in
the funny thing about Silent Hill games and the general elitism that runs rampant through the fandom is that its always been en vogue to consider the most recent game(s) The Worst Ever. I joined the fandom back when SH3 first came out and it was very

Talking about that old Vatra incident in the SH fandom reminds me, there’s this really bothersome problem with folks (in all fandoms, and just in general) to turning a blind eye or just plain not noticing bad behavior when its toward something they

I think the Supernatural fandom is the worst, and most aggressive + defensive out of all of them. That’s why I don’t dip TOO far into discussion or anything. I stay and participate on the friendly surface. It’s like…the only fandom with that reputation
Pimps out my personal blog again http://kittyborn.tumblr.com/ Again you don’t have to follow it ! It’s just going to be used for me to talk about random stuff, fandoms, personal posts, etc. Basically just a lot more talking and reblogs than
So if Cronus is basically fanon Eridan and the fandom dislikes Cronus does that mean that the fandom hates its own child?
“Karkitty” is one of those made up fandom things that became so INTEGRATED within the fandom and the minds of people that the fandom actually think it happened and when you say something against it people freak out. Like people can call
im still laughing about a comment i got last night i was talking about how its sad when female characters in w/e fandom are treated more poorly than the males, especially when the fandoms bastardize them for example when people write Nepeta off as weak
ever since i started to talk about Nepeta and how amazing she is but also talking about her bad fandom treatment as well as other females’ i’ve had so many men begin to harass me and spew hate towards me it’s really sad and disgusting,
its really hard for me to talk to people, mostly other artists, and make friends in this fandom, or any fandom for that matter sometimes i wonder if its that im just not that interesting or outgoing enough or maybe my art isn’t appealing to those

im laughing at teens who think 20+ and 30+ year olds are “too old” to be in fandoms its like WHO DO YOU THINK MAKES YOUR FANDOMS LMFAO
“You’re two old to be in fandoms!” Says the teenagers who in 5-10 years will reach the same age as the person they’re saying shit to. And then what will they do then? Automatically leave all their fandoms and throw away every piece
i’m not in the homestuck fandom, im in the ‘nepeta is my favorite character’ fandom
Honestly I just feel like a lot of artists in the HS fandom treat the fandom like a competition. Because in this fandom you have a chance to be part of canon/sub-canon if you’re well known enough so its like real cut-throat, and it spreads a lot
