medievill:CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS MOMENT RIGHT HERE WHEN ED REALIZES STEDE WON THE DUEL AND TOOK THE SWORD ON THE LEFT SIDE AND ED STRIDES UP LOOKING LIKE HES ABOUT TO ACTUALLY CONSUME STEDE LIKE LOOK AT THIS HORNY-ASS FACE
amuseoffyre: brb, having a little sit down and breathe-into-a-paperbag moment over the editing of episode ten and the cross-cut between the Stede’s revelation and Ed’s retreat.Stede says “his name is Ed” and literally the next thing that Ed says
waldmaerchen: You walk in a pub and ✨them ✨ For a glimpse Ed checks the door just to see who enters. His hand resting on his co-captains arm as he continues with on of his colourful stories, cheeks glowing from a bit too much wine.
robotsnchicks: You know, as wonderful as all the moments between Ed and Stede are, I think my favorite, most heart-warming moment of the entire show is in episode 9 when the whole crew shouts about what a fearsome proper pirate Stede Bonnet is and they
stedebonny: Interviewer: Favorite romance movie?Taika Waititi: Master and Commander. Just that relationship between Russell [Crowe] and that doctor guy? It’s Palpable.
stedebonny: What do you think you and Rhys taught each other from working together in this series?
orangechickenpillow: I need to scream about this scene for a minute because oh my god is it something else okay so. This is the scene where Stede’s treasure map gets burnt and he’s really upset about it, and right after Lucius has told Ed to stop

aha-my-villainous-thoughts:👅Acting up on the red carpet! Modern AU Ed and Stede can’t be serious when they’re in front of the cameras. Stede is doing his best to give a leading man look but he’s going to crack a grin any second now.
sungmee: in a softer timeline, ed and stede share the blanket fort
georgecostanzaatemysoup:Ed: *holding a sword in one hand* Stede, we meet againStede: *also holding a sword in one hand* It appears we haveIzzy: Are… are you two holding hands?Ed and Stede: *clasping their free hands tightly* Yeah?

captain-flint: Shh! You need to relax. You gotta take it easy. Otherwise, your guts will start poppin’ out all over the place. Okay but Ed is SO SOFT for Stede from the fucking jump. And ep 10 destroyed me I hate everything
avelera:I do love the unspoken fact in OFMD that Stede is a gentleman in the true sense of the word. He is gentle without regards to class or wealth. He is the type who holds doors for others without any notion of rank and who holds himself to a strict

knowlesian: ugh now i’m just thinking about ed and stede and how much they put each other on these ridiculous pedestals in the EXACT SAME WAY and it’s both sweet and so, so dumb.because in the same way post-chauncey stede is like “ed’s the
forest-sprites:There’s something very neurodivergent loves neurodivergent about Ed and Stede’s relationship that makes me a tad giddy. Everyone talks about how Stede is a funny little eccentric man bringing his special interest to life, but
Ed looking at Stede confused af and then thinking “Why the fuck am I feeling this way about this absolute maniac?” Is probably one of my favourite parts of the show tbh.
sendhelpnewobsessionincoming:Dont mind me. Just over here thinking about how this was the last time Stede saw Ed. Just thinking about how this last glimpse of his Ed’s heavenly smile wouldve followed him home to Mary and the kids. Just here crying
daraoakwise:Can we talk about The Kiss in the context of what is likely their past experiences? So Ed likely joined a ship as a teenager. I suspect that he had one or two tender sexual partners—someone he loved and cherished and who did the same for
virgo-79:I think I figured something out.So, the bathtub scene, when Ed’s coming down from his panic attack and admitting he was supposed to kill Stede to Stede. Love it, gorgeous emotionally and visually. But I kept coming back to the way it was
mwagneto: Guys, if Taika and David see this, they’re going to make it canon.
gertyorkess: izzy told ed about this pathetic weird guy that took back one of his hostages and was like. hm. weird. follow this mf around and tell him i wanna meet. and then izzy came back and told him that stede didn’t want to meet him so then he
edandstede:going bonkers actually thinking about stede, still in his pyjamas, making tea for himself and ed and bringing it out onto the deck for them both to enjoy. ed getting to hold a delicate little teacup and saucer that matches stede’s, enjoy
themthistles:thinking about erik satie’s gnossienne no.5 representing ed falling more and more in love throughout the show
chuplayswithfire:blackbonnet reunion and stede has bulked up a bit from all that rowing and from being physical, being a proper pirate working on the ship alongside the crew, maybe a bit of a beard, and he’s still a fancy man, still in nice clothes

ED’S FACE IN THE LAST GIF WHEN HE LOOKS BACK AT STEDE I AM CONVINCED HE FELL HARD AND FAST FOR STEDE IN THIS MOMENT BECAUSE STEDE DESTROYED A BUNCH OF ARISTOCRATIC ASSHOLES USING PASSIVE AGGRESSION FOR HIM. THE SHIP IS ON FIRE THEY’RE LOSING
lamberts: Ed and Stede + Touch IS EVERYONE ELSE STILL CRYING ABOUT THE GAY PIRATES? YES? OKAY GOOD.
vitruvianwatson:vitruvianwatson:I’m obsessed with the idea of Stede reading books to Ed, it’s such a soft and beautiful thing and I think Ed would interject often with questions or wild af theories about where the plot is headed, and he’d be shipping
notebooks-and-laptops:SORRY SORRY I’m back again because Ed literally gave Stede a love confession. That was his love confession. He was saying hey Stede, I’m fucking in love with you and could go anywhere if I was by your side. And Ed PROVED it too,
Completely obsessed with Ed and Stede’s love story. It actually makes my heart so happy and I need to see them fall back together.
ed-edward-blackbeard:rouxelf:Wait, I just realized- If Ed and Stede want to get married, since they’re both captains, they’d have to have the first mate officiate… it’d be up to fucking Izzy Handsor Buttons. because that’s a ceremony I’d
sadie-adler: Ed and Stede + parallels
varlysca: Yes something something Ed and Mary friendship, absolutely, BUT: What about Stede and Ed friendship infront of Mary. What about Mary finally seeing Stede for who he dares to be, a little bit cheeky, a little bit daring, a little bit inept,
iggy-hands:Logically, we need a scene where Izzy can hear yelps and moans and heavy breathing and he thinks Ed and Stede are fighting, so he rushes in to help only to realise too late that they actually are fucking this time.
wentzy:i really hope that once the initial drama fades and ed and stede are more okay that stede gets to make some kind of dry, sarcastic, teasing comments about how ed emptied out the captain’s quarters. like “well i see you’ve done
breeyn:eloquentmydear:Lucius was so firmly in Stede’s corner with his relationship with Ed, always getting Ed to see how stupid he was being and how he was hurting Stede, demanding better of him for his friend. And every time, he watched Ed make
viagoteach:I love when stede is ready to fight izzy in a fucking duel and is like “you’ve taught me well” and ed just says “not that well”. I mean, ed really said “babe, I love you but you have no idea what you are
stedebonny:I think the biggest hearteyes Ed ever gives Stede is after he gets stabbed by Izzy and Ed is both glad he’s alive and impressed and he’s just ENAMORED by this idiot.
xoxoemynn:Also obsessed with how Ed says “I reckon what makes Ed happy is … you,” and Stede has this super quick moment of “awww wow wasn’t expecting that I’m blushing.”And Ed still has an out, if he wants it. This could be another “you
wentzy:what if stede decides he wants some tattoos to feel like a Real Pirate or whatever and ed’s like ‘yeah sure bud i can do that for you’ and the first tattoo he gives stede is just a small ❤️ on the inside of his wrist.
menaceanon:Listen, Ed and Stede are cued up to have one hell of a positive feedback loop when it comes to physical touch. Edward “please let me climb into your lap and kiss you” Teach would be a hot mess the minute Stede laid hands on him, and you
snake-snack-stede:snake-snack-stede:😳🥵 you’re telling me Ed woke up to this every day and stayed celibate? the whole time? sure whatever you say… whatever helps you sleep at night #i can’t wait for a parralell in season 2 and it’s

silentheiss:Stede: I’m uncomfortable in a married stateAlso Stede 3.02 seconds after meeting Ed: do you want to be co-captains and live on my ship together forever?
notebooks-and-laptops: i’m going insane i’m going insane because i don’t even think that Stede knows. I don’t even think Stede knows that Ed loves him. God, I’m not even sure Stede knows that his crew loves him. He’s literally never been
