scarlet-rhodes: So, uh, what’s good in this cafeteria? They have really good home made soup, surprisingly.
scarlet-rhodes: Who wants soup on a hot day in Miami? It’s actually pretty cold in here, so that’s not a bad idea.. Cheese and broccoli sounds good, might be a little nostalgic. I think they are getting ready for the winter months. I always

@ScarletR: Mom comes to visit for the holiday and I turn back into a three-year-old. @AnnaBanks: You two look so adorable!
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Aw, thank you sweetie! She surprised me by coming down here. I never realized how much I missed her cooking. @AnnaBanks: Awe that’s so great! My dad was never a good cook so I don’t miss his cooking. Haha.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: My dad is the same way! His effort is sweet, but he ruins everything he tries to make. @AnnaBanks: Looks like our dad’s are very similar.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Sounds like! Are you going to see him for Thanksgiving? @AnnaBanks: Sadly no. He’s in Oregon.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Oh no! :( I’m sorry about that. @AnnaBanks: It’s alright. I’m gonna miss him but I get to spend it with Jordan and his family, so it’ll still be fun.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: And his cute dogs! Can’t forget them. @AnnaBanks: Awe yes. His doggies. Oliver and Basil. Gotta say though, Jordan is cuter than them. Don’t tell him I said that though, I don’t want his ego to get too big.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Don’t worry! Your secret is safe with me. @AnnaBanks: Thank God! Have you gotten to meet him yet?
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Jordan? Not that I know of. @AnnaBanks: Oh I gotta introduce you to him then!
scarlet-rhodes: ScarletR: Definitely! He sounds lovely, aside from his brief violent record. @AnnaBanks: people have blown that way out of proportion.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: I don’t doubt that, but still! @AnnaBanks: Still what?
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Still it’s probably enough to make at least a few people not want to get to know him. Not that I wouldn’t, I’m just saying. I don’t condone violence at all, ever. @AnnaBanks: I don’t condone it either but
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: I’m not judging you! And that’s debatable, but I’m not the type to argue. I’m sure he had a reason. @AnnaBanks: i meant to say him. People shouldn’t judge him based off of that. It’s not debatable.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: And you’re allowed to think that, but I’m also allowed to think differently. :) @AnnaBanks: you haven’t even met him. It’s unfair to judge someone you haven’t even met.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: I’m not judging him, but I think that is what has been keeping me from wanting to speak with him, that’s all. If I don’t want to be around someone that has done something like that, that’s fine. I don’t mean
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: No, I’m absolutely serious. I never said I wouldn’t talk to him; of course I would. I only meant to say that it has made me wary, as it would most anyone. Those two things should have never happened to you, but I
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Well I’m sorry you feel that way. As I said before, I wasn’t looking to offend anyone. @AnnaBanks: Well just a heads up, when you judge someone’s boyfriend before knowing them - they get offended.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Well it was nothing personal. I don’t think he’s a bad person. @AnnaBanks: Boyfriends are personal. They are always personal.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Right. My understanding of him wasn’t meant to be personally offensive… Or offensive in any way, like I’ve already said twice. I heard about what happened and made a decision for myself to not associate with him.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Well, pardon me if this comes off as rude, but I don’t think I need to make sense to anyone other than myself about what I choose to do. I haven’t written him off. I’ve made a decision based on what I know of him
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: I have never actually been skiing before, but I have a new scarf and I’m ready to master it this week. Anyone else? #FauxFur #OfCourse @AnnaBanks: you look so pretty!
scarlet-rhodes: annabellebanks: @AnnaBanks: you look so pretty! @ScarletR: Thank you so much Anna! @AnnaBanks: how are you?
scarlet-rhodes: annabellebanks: @AnnaBanks: how are you? @ScarletR: I’m doing very well, thanks. And you? @AnnaBanks: I’m fine thank you.
scarlet-rhodes: @ScarletR: Made some new friends in Colorado! @AnnaBanks: love your dress! I have one similar except the top half isn’t a spaghetti strap.
scarlet-rhodes: Happy New Year! How did you ring in the New Year?
scarlet-rhodes: annabellebanks: How did you ring in the New Year? By getting a full night of sleep. What about you? Anything exciting? That’s how I typically spend my Bee Years Eve. But this year I stayed up with Jordan and a few of our
scarlet-rhodes: Oh, good for you! I hope you both had a great time. Yeah it was a nice change of plans for me. I hope he had fun, it seemed like he did.
scarlet-rhodes: I hope you two have a great year. Yeah, I hope so too… I’m sure we’ll have a good one though.
scarlet-rhodes: Well you have the right attitude about it and that’s the first step. That’s true. I’m just hoping we can spend some more time together.
scarlet-rhodes: There you go! A perfect resolution. Yep. We’ve both been so busy lately, I think it’ll be good if I try and make more of an effort to see him.
scarlet-rhodes: I heard you two moved in together? Congratulations! Yeah we did. Thank you! It’s been nice, getting to see him at least once every day. I think it’s helped us be able to keep in touch since we both have been busy.
scarlet-rhodes: Good! I’m happy for you two! Thanks. It’s uh… it’s been a nice change.
scarlet-rhodes: I can imagine! Living alone can be awful. Which is why I got a dog when I lived alone. [ laughs ]

scarlet-rhodes: Are you okay Anna? No, I’m not. I’m freaking out over my book and I just… I’m worried it isn’t going to go well.
scarlet-rhodes: What are you worried about? That people won’t like it? Yeah. And that people won’t show up to the party…
