Minor spoilers from “Bismuth” - nothing major, but still be warn.I am still recovering from the aftermath from last night’s spectacular 100th episode “Bismuth”. It is probably one of the best and most discussed episodes from the entire series.
peachie5000: bismuth: in 2015, steven universe was on hiatus for 27 weeks in the year. in the 25 weeks it wasn’t on hiatus, 38 episodes were released. in 2016, steven universe was on hiatus for 36 weeks in the year. in the 16 weeks it wasn’t on hiatus,

I saw a different, shorter version of that promo this morning. It was mostly the same except the Bismuth clips were replaced with just one clip where Steven is looking up at Bismuth while in Lion’s mane and she says something along the lines of “Hey,
Here’s a poor quality cam vid I took of the short promo. Sorry the audio is so low and it sounds like there’s a rattlesnake in the background… I really have no idea what that noise isanyway, its just a really short new clip here

IT’S TIME!
Ahh it’s so cute so far!!! This commercial break is so early! What’s gonna happen!! Aaaahhh!!
Oh. Oh dang! Bismuth is intense! Wonder how this is gonna resolve… Also, new summer of steven commercial during this break! Cool-cool
ohh my gosh! That was just… man. That was so intense. Such a sweet beginning but man, that ending. Just, heartbreaking. I can definitely see Bismuth’s solution was way too extreme but I also totally get where she’s coming from and, like, we
pearladise: local sweet baby pearl loves to be held and carried
the best part of the episode for me, like the absolute best, even better the unbelievably adorable reunion scene at the beginning, was Bismuth’s pep talk to StevenSteven: Everyone always tells me how great mom was. I just don’t feel like I can ever
She Could Almost Be A Knight
ok but like, when Bismuth is holding Pearl and bantering, Garnet comes over like “Alright, alright, settle down” and then Bismuth says “Oh, you’re one to talk. Oh, excuse me, two to talk.”which I have to think is ‘cause of how affectionate
goopy-amethyst: dreamypearl: ok so like pearl’s immediate reaction to being around bismuth is to be super flirty and i can’t help but wonder if that was her thing during the rebellion. Like rose was Her Great Love or whatever but she flirted with
so as I was cooking I was thinking a lot about, like, Rose in general.Like, the Rebellion was fought, in part, for Gems to have the freedom to be who they wanted to be. A cause started by Rose. Which means she had to somehow be introduced to that concept
ghostdigits: I love Bismuth!
elasticitymudflap:garnet taking off her visor to look at bismuth will always break my heart thanks
elasticitymudflap: a thought: garnet and bismuth are the only two who can survive a lava shower a gay thought: garnet and bismuth could kiss a whole bunch in a lava shower
what’s interesting to me is that if Rose was made on Earth like Bismuth suggested (and Peridot has talked about Quartzes like they specifically come from Earth in “When it Rains” - “You’re some kind of quartz, right? You must’ve been made
I was tabbing through the episode to make a gif and I found I like these two frames on their own
polybear: snellyfish: I’m still not over the bismuth episode tbh so have this incredibly effortless doodle of my children @punk-polygems
aei-sb: Also some silly Steven Universe sketches! Before and after the BIG “Change your Mind“ episode!! When we only knew the upcoming episodes as “Battle of Heart and Mind“ so of course I thought of Godtiers/Classpect. And I made the Blue &
If monster reunion is about centipeetle and its before that bismuth episode, this means we alredy know at the end of that deal, centipeetle is yet to be healed.
You know whats funny That bismuth clip was sadder than the pearl one but we all know the pearl greg musical episode is gonna have at least one very messed up scene that will make a lot of fans cry.
Some say the new song is from bismuth. But the line “Flexibility, love, and trust” doesnt seem like something from her?Like if when the bismuth episode comes out, unless she is unstable, filled with hatred and cant trust anyone, i dont know how this
I expected the episode to change the status quo but…it didnt.I mean i like bismuth but…besides the fact that now we know who she is..nothings changed.
colin-howard: BISMUTH? Who the heck is THAT?? Find out TONIGHT at 7 PM! A special 2-part episode boarded by Katie Mitroff, Lamar Abrams, Jeff Liu, and myself! Don’t miss out! as we found out,a violent blood thirsty problematic ally.
