Oh, also, a couple little things I really liked from this episode. For one, the titlecard was pink-hued! I love it when titlecards or openings are altered to fit the episode. Like how “Steven the Swordfighter” had rain in its titlecard. Its
So this is probably nothing but in “Laser Light Cannon”, Steven lists three seemingly random fantasy locations as places the light cannon might be. When the episode first aired, I was curious about it mostly because, hey, clams produce pearls.
The statues from that sparring room in “Steven the Sword Fighter” that I forgot to include in that other post. These are particularly interesting because there’s writing in an alien language on them. EDIT: it has since been confirmed
I always think “I should make a list of my favorite SU episodes” but then it just ends up being all of them Maybe once we get more than 20 episodes I’ll be able to whittle it down a bit

It occurs to me that due to Garnet’s future vision, she probably saw the possible future in “Steven the Swordfighter” where Pearl gets stabbed and ‘dies’. But she also probably saw another future where Pearl successfully
I also very vividly remember when “Steven the Swordfighter” aired because we had the description from the production list for a while and it sounded cute so I was looking forward to it and it was so very much not what it sounded like it would be
