Seiken Densetsu 3 is the sequel to the game called Secret Of Mana here in the states, and the third game in the Mana series overall, the direct predecessor to Legend Of Mana (1999, PS1) a lot of Seiken Densetsu 3 gameplay mechanics carried over.
Incidentally, this series happens to be done by the author of Vinland Saga, and is just as scientifically accurate as Vinland Saga is historically accurate.
