So I finally found out who made this really cool thing because they came forward and made me another really cool thing!BabySweets on FA went and made this awesome render of my femotters head, and what’s more is that it is a totally buildable papercraft
Spent the afternoon working on this since I didn’t feel up to drawing. I kind of goofed up the other eye but it’s not super noticeable.Actually I feel like for my first papercraft ever this is going pretty well! Though all credit goes to @sweets-cat-remy
Finished it last night and it is the coolest dang thing ever!Thanks again to @sweets-cat-remy who made the papercraft file, this was a really fun project!
I finally gooped resin onto that papercraft otter head I made over the winter!I made some goofs, but hopefully it’s nothing that I won’t be able to cover with the next ten bajillion coats of various other goops n’ glops that still have to go on!I’m
Update on the otterhead for anyone who’s curious!I glooped the insides with resin cloth so now it’s super hard and sturdy and makes a really satisfying “tok” sound when you bap it with your knuckles.I just have to patch up some spots around the
Otterhead update: after searching everywhere for Sculptamold I finally found some and glopped it all over the head. After this there’s gonna be a LOT of sanding and I am WAY not looking forward to it.
