Virgin Black - And I Am Suffering . This kind of music is so awesome. A little metal… a little opera… a little classical… mix is all up and this is what you get! This entire album (“Requiem - Mezzo Forte”) is incredible.
Afrika Bambaataa (with Gary Numan) - Metal . Metal is one of my favourite songs ever, and this is a pretty neat cover. I still think i like NIN’s cover better, but… i’d never heard this one until now so share time!
Agalloch - Scars of the Shattered Sky . This is pretty nice… I love it when metal bands mix ambient/drone stuff into their work. Agalloch does great music, regardless of which direction they point it.

Strapping Young Lad - Underneath the Waves . I was into Strapping Young Lad long before i was ever into Devin Townsend’s solo stuff. This album (City) was the first SYL album i’d ever heard, and also one of the first metal albums i ever liked.
