My professor from SVA contacted me recently to give a talk about my comics and how I get into animation to his comics class at USC (where he now teaches.) I was nervous but the students were great despite being worn out from being in the thick of finals.
I made this for my buddy as a present but forgot to take a picture when I finished it…. -__-;note- Not sure why the image is showing up lookin’ all low res but it seems kinda on brand at this point :/

artgantuan: I wanted to see how this brush and ink would work on this paper with much higher tooth than I’m used to. I’m tired of the copy paper I usually draw on for sketches. Thankfully the lines seem to be crisp.

Just practicing some new stuff and feeling slightly frustrated with coloring and inking. Personally like the second one of Custom Shy more than the first one. Might need to look up a few tuts for blending and brush tool creation in Manga Studio.
