Quick doodle with a write-up. While all the Lapis and Peridot shipping is cute, it is highly unlikely that Lapis has encountered Peridot. Peridot did not know there were any gems on Earth, and she certainly did not know of, “The Crystal Gems.”

I was thinking about Rose/Steven and fusing with other gems. Like Rainbow Quartz, I think all of Rose’s fusions with the crystal gems would be some type of Quartz. With Garnet and Rose, I’m thinking Smoky Quartz. This isn’t how I would draw Rose

tbh though, I’ve always very much disliked the idea of Steven fusing with Peridot before the Crystal Gems (even if its along with another Crystal Gem, like Amethyst) so I’m probably disinclined to see that as a possibility in general
