It’s very refreshing to start the vibrant, colorful border after using so much black thread for twisting letters. To me, the straight borders are very clean and very easy to do after straining my eyes to see how to do the letters.When it’s complete,
I take foreverrrrr to cross stitch but slow progress is still progress. Today I’ve done nearly all the letters in the bottom left quadrant.When I am done, it will say “Good mothers let you lick the beaters. Great mothers turn them off first.”

Progress on my Harry Potter cross stitch⚡
My progress today. I’m a very slow stitcher so finishing two thirds of the letters in two days has been like a marathon for me. Just need to finish the last words, then finish the wandlight. I’m dreading the wandlight, since it’s 3 very similar

I’m actually surprised I got all the text done as quickly as I did. I’m a very slow stitcher lol. This will be a wedding gift for my husband’s friends after I finish it. I also found some Scotchguard specifically for embroidery projects
