After calling every vet in the area, I managed to find an appointment a couple hours earlier than the other one I had, and one 24 hour pet hospital that said they’ll take him as a walk-in so there’s that if the appointment doesn’t work
Currently at the vet having Leonard’s abscess looked at. They took him back to take some of the fluid out so we know what exactly it is, so I’m just waiting form them to finish doing that and bring him back
So! It turns out Leonard has a seroma, not an abscess. This is good news because it’s a less serious issue and doesn’t require as extreme a treatment. I’ll have to give him antibiotics and hot pack the area for the next few weeks and

Leonard’s ears have been very sensitive to cold and especially wind so we got him a little hat to protect his ears when he goes out. So far it seems to help a lot, his ears don’t get as irritated when he wears his hat. The downside is that
